The experience begins with a visit to the vineyards and the modern winemaking cellar where Campo del Guardiano is born; with a short walk in the chestnut wood we lead to the Etruscan cave where the Campo del Guardiano is preserved after bottling.
THE WINE LUNCH
The tour continues with the return to Locanda Palazzone where lunch will allow you to combine the vertical tasting of 4 vintages of “Campo del Guardiano”, with a four-course menu made using the excellence of the territory.
The menu consists of a fish appetizer, a first course and a traditional second course and a selection of cheeses to conclude;
all designed for a perfect wine pairing.

Every time our wines are bottled, we always put aside a certain quantity of bottles to evaluate their qualitative behavior over time.
This experience convinced us to propose a “second release” of vintages of Campo del Guardiano; bottles kept in the Etruscan cave, at the top of the wood,
which demonstrate the surprising aging capacity of an Orvieto Classico Superiore.
